fluidsynth 2.2.0
This release breaks ABI compatibility! Refer to the API docs for details.

This is a bugfix upgrade with some necessary changes to the recipe itself.
Changelogs:
https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/pipewire/pipewire/-/releases/0.3.23https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/pipewire/pipewire/-/releases/0.3.24
Fixes in the recipe itself:
- meson_options.txt now uses features for everything, so the
"=true" and "=false" packageconfig args were replaced by
"=enabled" and "=disabled", respectively
- "docs" packageconfig was incorrectly adding doxygen instead
of doxygen-native to the DEPENDS variable
- "man" packageconfig removed, since manpage generation requires
xmltoman, and that tool is not available

* Use a versioned recipe instead of _git
* Add more packageconfigs: alsa, docs, sdl2, sndfile, v4l2,
pipewire-alsa, pipewire-jack
* Split SPA and module packages dynamically to generate one package for
each SPA plugin and for each module
* Split pipewire library, shim PulseAudio daemon, main tools & SPA tools,
pipewire-alsa, pipewire-jack, ALSA card profiles, GStreamer plugin,
and example session manager into separate packages
* Set up a "pipewire" user and group to run the PipeWire daemon with that
user instead of root

Secure Reliable Transport (SRT) Protocol
Secure Reliable Transport (SRT) is an open source transport technology that
optimizes streaming performance across unpredictable networks, such as the Internet.
SRT is applied to contribution and distribution endpoints as part of a video
stream workflow to deliver the best quality and lowest latency video at all times.
As audio/video packets are streamed from a source to a destination device,
SRT detects and adapts to the real-time network conditions between the two endpoints.
SRT helps compensate for jitter and bandwidth fluctuations due to congestion
over noisy networks, such as the Internet. Its error recovery mechanism minimizes
the packet loss typical of Internet connections. And SRT supports AES encryption for
end-to-end security, keeping your streams safe from prying eyes.

libcamera checks if RPATH or RUNPATH dynamic tag is present in
libcamera.so. If it does, it assumes that libcamera binaries are
run directly from the build directory without installing them, and
tries to use resorces like IPA modules from the build directory.
Mainline meson strips RPATH/RUNPATH out from libcamera.so file
at install time. But openembedded-core patches meson to disable
RPATH/RUNPATH removal. That's why we need to remove this tag manually
in do_install_append().
IPA module is signed (with openssl dgst) after it is built. But
during packaging the OE build system 1) splits out debugging info,
and 2) strips the binaries. So the IPA module so file installed
isn't the one which the signature was calculated against. Then
the signature check fails, and libcamera tries to run the IPA
module isolated (in a sandbox), which doesn't work if the IPA
module wasn't designed to run isolated. The solution is to
recalculate the IPA modules signatures in ${PKGD} after do_package().

Mycroft is an open source speech assistant. It traditionally runs inside
Python virtual env and installs all of the pip and native packages and
programs that is needs at setup. This generally includes a native gcc
build for some of the binaries in the pip packages.
This patch adds Mycroft support and edits the source to remove the
Python venv usage so we can just run in standard Python world. This
allows us to use the preinstalled Python packages where avaliable and
avoid installing too much on the target at runtime. At the moment we
still require a few simple Python packages to be installed but we don't
requrie any target compilation.
Hopefully in the future we can remove all of the runtime install
requirements by adding all the Python packages to the rootFS pre-boot
and setting up the other files/directories as required during the build
process.
This patch also adds two systemd services. The first will setup mycroft
on boot, the second will start the mycroft voice assistant.

* Fallout caused by API change should be fixed in all recipes depending
fluidsynth. To make this happen I sent out patches to many projects during
last autumn.
* Add PACKAGECONFIG for profiling (disabled by default).
* ARM-NEON-patch was reworked and profiling runs were performed with and
without the patch. See patch description for profiling results.
* We need to split tool to generate parameter tables to native. Since target
and native builds do not share much in common we don't use BBCALLSEXTEND
* Add patch which allows clients to reduce useless copies of buffers.
Fluidsynth-DSSI (in meta-qt5-extra currently) is going to make use of this.

Don't use ${PN} for the source dir, it will break multilib builds.
The correct variable is ${BPN}.

Don't use ${PN} for the source dir, it will break multilib builds.
The correct variable is ${BPN}.
The bitbake defaults are:
BP = "${BPN}-${PV}"
S = "${WORKDIR}/${BP}"
Therefore we can remove this line.

Remove not required patch and extra EXTRA_OECONF "--without-mp4v2".
Previously not required mp4v2 library was dropped on 1.29.9.2.
While being there also fix issue with multilib build on aarch64
using FILES_lib${BPN} instead of FILES_lib${PN}.

Several build options have been changed from "boolean" to "feature",
and thus we have to change "true/false" to "enabled/disabled".

If you try to build a system with multiple BSPs, one of which is qemux86
or qemux86-64, the gstreamer package will change. This will trigger
anything using gstream to also be rebuilt.
For a package based system, the PR values will also be incremented each
time. The end result will be an ever growing set of PR values as well as
being unable to tell which configured version of the multimedia components
are really being deployed.
The solution here was to remove the rrecommend for consistency.

Not only was uuid removed as a build dependency of Rygel in 0.27.1, but
oe-core's ossp-uuid has always renamed the library to libossp-uuid so it was
never used (as util-linux provides libuuid.so).

WARNING: rygel-0.34.0-r0 do_populate_lic: rygel: \
No generic license file exists for: LGPL1.1 in any provider
According to a git commit in Rygel made two years ago by Jens
Georg: "all: Update license text to LGPLv2.1 proper We always
claimed being LGPLv2.1 but the license text said differently."
In the same time the tag for Rygel 0.34 has been created on
20 March 2017, aka after this git commit. For more details:

Furthermore, the changelog of Rygel 0.34.0 also indicates
that the license is LGPLv2.1+ (after a fix in release 0.29.1):

Some older compilers do not support security flags like -fstack-protector=strong
and if we do not set this then it will use the target flags to pass here
which will fail with gcc < 5.x, especially a problem building distros with
security flags on host with 4.x gcc e.g. ubuntu 14.04
