a1296d40a1 bitbake.conf: Prevent pyc file generation in pseudo context
This also effectively reverts commit b6d30c21b0:
    bitbake.conf: Extend PSEUDO_IGNORE_PATHS to ${COREBASE}/meta

The contents of ${COREBASE}/meta were ignored as pyc files could be
generated for the contents of the lib subdirectory if python modules
were imported within a pseudo context. However this doesn't protect us
from pyc files being generated in the lib directories for other layers.
It's far better to tell python not to produce pyc files when running
under pseudo (by setting the PYTHONDONTWRITEBYTECODE variable) as this
will cover any location where pyc files could possibly be created. This
variable is set in FAKEROOTBASEENV so that it applies to the
bitbake-worker instance for fakeroot tasks, preventing pyc files from
being generated for imports in python tasks themselves.

Also add a test case to ensure that pyc files are not created in tasks
which are executed under pseudo.

6a6dbae43d selftest/virgl: drop the custom 30 sec timeout

f135cb3659 oeqa/selftest: Add test for conflicting sysroot provider
sysroot-test depends on virtual/sysroot-test which we build for one machine,
switch machine, switch provider of virtual/sysroot-test and check that the
sysroot is correctly cleaned up. The files in the two providers overlap
so can cause errors if the sysroot code doesn't function correctly.

Yes, sysroot-test should be machine specific really to avoid this, however
the sysroot cleanup should also work.

This adds a test for bug:

feea1ef48d recipeutils-test: use a small dependency in the dummy recipe
recipeutils-test has virtual/libx11 as a DEPENDS, but this will cause errors if
the recipe is built in an environment without x11 in DISTRO_FEATURES.

This dependency isn't actually used for anything so we could remove it, but to
save updating the test cases too just swap virtual/libx11 for zlib.

ffae400179 meta/lib+scripts: Convert to SPDX license headers
This adds SPDX license headers in place of the wide assortment of things
currently in our script headers. We default to GPL-2.0-only except for the
oeqa code where it was clearly submitted and marked as MIT on the most part
or some scripts which had the "or later" GPL versioning.

The patch also drops other obsolete bits of file headers where they were
encoountered such as editor modelines, obsolete maintainer information or
the phrase "All rights reserved" which is now obsolete and not required in
copyright headers (in this case its actually confusing for licensing as all
rights were not reserved).

More work is needed for OE-Core but this takes care of the bulk of the scripts
and meta/lib directories.

The top level LICENSE files are tweaked to match the new structure and the
SPDX naming.

20c8be711f selftest/package: Add test to ensure sparse files are preserved
Add a new element to the hardlink test to check we also preseve file
sparseness during the packing process. This should ensure we don't regress this
issue again.

318595754b oeqa/selftest: Add package hardlink test
We keep breaking the preservation of hardlinks during the packaging process.
Add a selftest which tests this to try and prevent this breaking again.

0a5cccfa24 oeqa/runtime/cases/dnf_runtime.py: skip test if PACKAGE_FEED_URIS is not set
This test is to test the behaviour of PACKAGE_FEED_URIS is correct or not.
If it's not even set, it makes no sense to do such test. So skip this
test if PACKAGE_FEED_URIS is not set.

6827053895 oe-selftest: add a test for failing package post-installation scriptlets
The test runs a scriptlet that has an intentionally failing command in the middle
and checks for two things:
1) that bitbake does warn the user about the failure
2) that scriptlet execution stops at that point.

The test is run for all three package types: rpm, deb, ipk.

6ca669105f package.bbclass: add support for pkg_postinst_ontarget()
This function is a convenient and more readable shortcut for situations
when the postinst code always needs to run on target. All commands that
cannot be executed during cross-install and can only be run on target
should go into this function. They will only be executed on first boot
(if package was cross-installed) or immediately during package installation
on target.

Plain pkg_postinst() works as before: it is run during cross-install time,
it can contain a request to defer to first boot, and it is also run
during package installation on target.

Also fix the oeqa test for this functionality to use the new function
where appropriate.
